Accessibility Training Modules provide a variety of courses on digital accessibility and can be used as a resource to find strategies for creating accessible content. The platform features the ability to create and customize learning paths to target specific audiences.
Features
Accessibility Training Modules are open to experts as well as those just learning about accessibility. The platform offers online courses on web and mobile accessibility for developers. There are also courses designed to introduce learners to foundational accessibility concepts and highlight content authoring strategies. Training on document accessibility strategies is available for platforms like Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe InDesign. The platform also functions as a knowledge hub by allowing users to search for content related to a specific question.
Courses can be grouped together to create a custom learning path that targets the needs of a specific department. They are a way for people to progress through these accessibility modules based on their role. Custom learning paths can be set up for schools, departments or business units to quickly get people trained on accessibility best practices. The learning path will be made available to all the users within the unit and progress can be tracked. A prep course is offered to help individuals study to become a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) with the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
