User Experience

What is user experience?

User experience (UX) is defined as any interaction a user has with a service, including its website, ordering process, and support.

UX design is a design process with the goal of providing users with an intuitive and delightful experience.

Why does my service need UX design?

A service with good UX design helps create satisfied users by making efficient use of their time and preventing usability issues from happening in the first place, generating fewer support tickets which ultimately decreases the time and cost of running the service.

How can the UIT UX Practice team help me to develop and manage my service?

Engage with the UIT UX Practice team by participating in the Service Release Process (SRP).  Determine if your service is considered small, medium or large by reviewing the usability design definitions and standards. Follow the included self-help instructions for each UX activity.

The UIT UX Practice team holds regular office hours and reviews the UX of services in requests submitted through SRP.
