Various platforms have different tools for captioning video or providing audio transcripts for podcasts. Some of the most popular platforms are listed below and other platforms will have similar techniques.

Important Dates

• Public-facing videos published after January 1, 2023 are to be captioned when posted.
• Public-facing audio-only content and/or podcasts published after January 1, 2023 are to include a transcript when posted.

While most of the platforms and techniques below are directly related to video captions, many of them can be utilized to create audio transcripts.
