Pages and Structure
Clear structure and meaningful headings make web pages accessible by communicating content hierarchy and order. Screen reader users rely on headings to skim, jump between sections, and understand context; keyboard users benefit from predictable landmarks and sections; and all readers experience reduced cognitive load when content is well organized. Use semantic HTML for layout and landmarks (header, nav, main, aside, footer) and apply heading levels (h1 – h6) to reflect true content hierarchy. Good structure also improves SEO, responsiveness, and maintainability, creating pages that are easier to navigate for everyone.
