Attribute Release Policy For InCommon Research and Scholarship

Default Attribute Release For Research and Scholarship

Stanford Identity Providers (IdPs) release the following attributes to the InCommon Service Providers (SPs) in Research and Scholarship (R&S) entity category. Stanford faculty and staff members can register InCommon SPs with Stanford SPDB and request the same (or a subset) of the default R&S attribute release.

Notes:

  1. We no longer release eduPersonTargetedID by default. If this is needed, please file SNOW request via Stanford SPDB.
  2. The mail attribute is not a mandatory attribute at Stanford and might have no value for some users.
