Solution Summary
Oracle Financials and SeRA generate large amounts of data that feed the data warehouse. The ability for users to easily combine data from these sources remains elusive. This initiative will leverage and expand on existing data foundations to provide more comprehensive solutions for information management and delivery for end-to-end research life-cycle reporting.
Specific Goals/Objectives
- Complete discovery to determine scope, projects and related priorities
- Develop a plan and assemble core team for the discovery phase with members of ORA, Enterprise Technology, FMS and select campus units
- Form an advisory committee of select faculty and staff members
- If discovery phase determines a need, bring forward a project proposal
- Finalize governance and solidify ongoing support model in alignment with UIT governance
