Things you need to know
- Mobile Device Services (MDS) charges a monthly administrative fee of $5 per device which provides reporting, customer support and issue resolution.
- All devices purchased through Stanford MDS will be pre-installed with Stanford’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) software.
- Reduced pricing for a new or upgrade device requires a two-year contract. The device is locked to that carrier and may incur early termination fees in the event of early cancellation. Upon contract expiration, an Unlock request can be submitted.
- A device at full retail, with no contract, can be ordered by noting this in ‘Additional Information’ in the request. An Unlock request can be submitted after 60 days.
