Option 1: Apple Care+
AppleCare+ for iPhones provides coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling. Each incident is subject to a $79 service fee plus applicable tax. It is at your department’s discretion to cover payment/reimbursements made via PCard or personal Credit Card.
All Apple Care+ Repair Requests must be made through Apple. To file a claim, call (800) 275-2273 or visit the Apple Store Genius Bar. For your convenience, the nearest Apple Store is located at the Stanford Shopping Center near Nieman Marcus (650) 798-6180. To confirm that Apple Care+ was purchased for your device, use the button on the right side of this page.
Note: Before bringing in your device, it is recommended you back up your device’s data.
Option 2: Fixt
University IT has partnered with Fixt, a new enterprise mobility on-demand repair service provider. Fixt is committed to providing the Stanford community with a top-tier experience, a prompt turnaround time, and a standard pricing model. Fixt technicians will come to your office, home, or other location to repair your iOS or Android mobile devices. Don't replace it, repair it — at a fraction of the cost.
Fixt services include:
- Screen repair
- Microphone/speaker problems
- Water damage repair
- Battery replacement
- Button repair
All Fixt repair requests must be made through the Fixt form, using the button on the right side of this page. Mobile Repair requests via HelpSU will be automatically referred back to the Fixt form.
Note: Repairs completed by Fixt will void any existing Apple Warranty (standard or AppleCare) associated with the mobile device.
Option 3: Order a Replacement Device
