Departmental IT Contact

A Departmental IT contact is a user with the authority to use University PTAs in University ordering and reporting systems. A Departmental IT contact can create new order requests for University IT services or approve orders from other users. A Departmental IT Contact must have a SUNet ID.

Voice Services

University IT provides voice services for telephone lines, desk phones, soft phones, conference room phones, fax lines, and elevator phones.

Mobile Services

Stanford contracts with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile to provide mobile services and devices at discounted rates.

Paging Services

Paging Services provides messaging through the Spok Mobile app and webpage, page-to-email, and traditional paging devices to Stanford University.

Wiring and Construction Services

The IT Infrastructure Facilities Engineering Group offers in-building wiring, construction design and project management services for university telephone, camera, and access control installations and construction projects.

Circuit Services

Copper or fiber to extend Carrier circuits, add Intra Building circuits, connect devices ID card readers, etc. to the University's networked communication resources.

Client Technology Solutions and Consulting (CTSC), is Stanford's strategic IT managed service partner in University IT (UIT). They offer managed IT services with reduced costs, increased security, simplified management, and improved cybersecurity posture. CTSC’s products and services aim to reduce complexity and improve efficiency while also protecting data.
