Follow these instructions to install Microsoft Teams on a desktop or laptop computer running Windows.

Installation
- Go to the Microsoft Teams download page (opens in a new window) by Microsoft.
- Click Download Teams.
- Click Save File.
- Go to your Downloads folder and double-click the downloaded .exe file to open the installer. Follow the prompts to install.
- When prompted, log in to Microsoft using your Work or school account. Use your [SUNet ID]@stanford.edu email address and password. Two-step authenticate if prompted.
- After completing the install, Teams will now be available to open. Click the Teams app icon in your application Tray, or search “Teams” with the Search tool.
- To view the welcome walkthrough information, click Let’s do this! or close the welcome walkthrough screen.
