Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a secure platform that enables collaboration via text chat, voice or video calls, and document sharing. Teams integrates with other Microsoft tools. You can store and share files through OneDrive and SharePoint, edit Office documents, set up Planner tasks, collaborate in the Whiteboard app, or view Power BI dashboards— all from within the app.

Teams is approved for protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII) with Cardinal Key.

Teams is provided at no cost to Stanford University faculty, staff, and students

Get started

Once enabled and available to you, Teams and other M365 appslications, will appear as new tiles after you click on the app launcher (the square in the top left corner) in webmail or at portal.office.com.
