Office of Digital Accessibility resources
The Office of Digital Accessibility has numerous resources to help you prioritize accessibility when creating new digital spaces and ensure the accessibility of your content and web infrastructure.
These resources include:
- Accessibility Quick Checks: Unsure if your website is accessible? Check out the Accessibility Evaluation Quick Checks document to determine if your electronic content is minimally accessible or can be made accessible.
- Accessibility Training Modules: In partnership with Deque University, take self-guided online courses on digital accessibility for all levels and roles.
- Office Hours: If you have any questions regarding digital accessibility, sign up for office hours every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (PDT).
Accessibility concepts
Familiarize yourself with accessibility concepts to help you integrate digital accessibility into your work processes:
- Accessible web content: Ensure your website or web applications meet accessibility standards or create an accessible website (via Stanford Web Services).
- Captions: Maximize the value of videos by delivering content that can be accessed by all. Learn how to caption your videos or explore Stanford-preferred captioning vendors.
- PDF remediation: Need help fixing and delivering accessible PDF documents? Equidox, a web-based PDF remediation tool, simplifies the process of fixing inaccessible PDF documents.
While it's important to implement accessibility best practices year-round, participating in GAAD offers additional opportunities to solidify your commitment to creating an accessible digital landscape for all.
