What should an IT professional do if a user's changes are not reflected in MyDevices?

If an end-user makes a change that isn't reflected in MyDevices after 24 hours for a device that's currently on the network, an IT professional can make changes to the NetDB node record:

  1. Delete the existing node record, rather than editing it.
  2. Wait for up to two hours to give the Device Registry time to receive notice of the deletion.
  3. Create a new node record for the device.

If you don't follow this procedure, you might not get the results you want.
