Erika Cespedes is a Costarican-born commercial and fine art photographer. Her fine artwork focuses on daily narrative life events in natural settings, while her commercial work focuses on food photography and advertising. Erika believes students from all cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses deserve art in their lives as a form of expression and personal growth. She currently teaches photography, design, and post-editing classes for Palm Beach State College in Florida. She has also been appointed lead curator for the Helen M. Salzberg Gallery on campus.
Her work has been published in world-renowned magazines and commissioned by publishers to create exquisite food imagery for book layouts and covers. Her fine artwork continues to be displayed in galleries and museums nationwide. She also wrote her first book: “Introduction to Digital Photography: Creating Images and Working with Adobe.”
