Getting The Most From Your Mobile Device Camera

Before each sesson, Tech Training will provide a Zoom link for live online classes, along with any required class materials.
The camera on your smartphone is constantly being upgraded, allowing you to take professional photos. This class will cover best practices to take advantage of your smartphone camera to produce quality photos using filters, timers, live mode, and more.
Note: This class is geared towards iPhone 11 and newer versions. The iPhone 7 includes some of these features but not all will apply. Android and Samsung phones have similar features but will not be covered in depth.
This interactive class includes follow-along activities as you ease in the features available on your smartphone.

- Filters
- How and when to use flash
- Camera modes
- Timers
- Live mode
- Burst option (and when to use it)
- Night-time photography
- Portrait mode
- Lighting aspect ratios
- AE (Auto Exposure) lock
- HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos
- In-phone camera settings
In addition to photography we will also cover how to capture great videos with simple techniques.
After learning all these tips and tricks we will be editing, adjusting images in the film roll and learn other additional features such as loop, bounce and blur video from live mode images.
