UID Numbers

The UID numbers that are assigned to posixAccount entries in the LDAP directory as assigned using the following policy.

UID Number Range	UID Number Usage
0 to 999	Reserved
1000 to 64999	User accounts
70000 to 119999	Overhead accounts
120000 to 199999	Computer Science
200000 to 999999	User Accounts
