Outbound Softphone is a service offered for Stanford Medicine that uses the Softphone Service for Outbound Dialing. This service replaces Stanford Medicine’s Doximity service for placing outbound calls. Users will be able to place outbound calls with the caller id and number being masked with a department or clinic name and main number. Inbound calls can not be received with this service.
Stanford University has migrated the softphone service to Cardinal Voice powered by the Webex.
Users that utilize their Stanford University Credentials (SunetID) to login are considered part of the University's migration: Learn more at the Cardinal Voice Softphone service web page.
Using the mobile device on which you want to install Webex, Visit the App Store and Download the Webex Business App. Once Webex is installed log in with your Stanford email and password
Stanford Medicine users that utilize thier Hospital (SHC) credentials//email to log in will continue to utilize Jabber.
