New Resource Helps You Create More Inclusive Meetings

Monday, March 14, 2022

Improving the accessibility of your virtual meetings makes it possible for all attendees — including individuals with disabilities to participate, engage and contribute in an integrated setting.

To help you create and facilitate inclusive meeting environments, the Office of Digital Accessibility (ODA) put together the Accessible Virtual Meetings guide. This resource highlights what we should consider throughout the virtual meeting process, including:

  • Accessibility strategies for before, during, and after meetings
  • Information to help you increase your understanding of disability types and potential access strategies
  • Solutions for creating greater participation for all attendees

About the Office of Digital Accessibility

Building on Stanford’s core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ODA serves the greater Stanford community by providing technical guidance, accessibility reviews, evaluation tools, and training resources for realizing a more accessible information and communication technology environment.
