Before each session, Tech Training will provide a Zoom link for live online classes, along with any required class materials.
 


This course will introduce the creation and management of Excel tables to organize data sets. It will also cover the basic and advanced sorting and filtering of datasets and introduce the use and generation of Pivot Tables for reporting.

 

This is the fourth session of the Stanford University Technology Training Excel Proficiency Certificate program. The program includes four half-day training sessions and a final exam challenge. In order to obtain your certificate of completion, you must attend at least three of the four sessions and successfully pass the final exam challenge.

Class Prerequisite:
Excel Bootcamp Series: Basics or equivalent experience.

 

Learning Objectives

During this course, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create, use, and manage names and named ranges
  • Learn how to create and format data using Tables in Excel
  • Apply basic and advanced data sorting and filtering
  • Understand how to generate Pivot Tables for reporting
