Adobe Photoshop: Enhanced Image Editing Techniques

Take your Photoshop skills to the next level. In this session, you will explore best practices to use Photoshop tools like Masking, Clone, Dodge, Burn, and others to manipulate and improve your images.

JD Beltran is a photographer, artist, filmmaker, writer, and journalist. Her photographic and artistic practice explores expanding the concept of visual storytelling. For over a decade, her award-winning work has investigated storytelling through the blending of traditional artistic practices with novel materials, concepts, and technology.

Program Description

This hands-on class picks up where Photoshop 101 left off. Enhance your image editing techniques, fine-tune your Photoshop tool utilization, and develop creative visuals suitable for web and print media.

In this training, you will gain best practices for masking, cloning, burning, and color correction to improve your photography and design skills.

Dive deeper into Photoshop's powerful tools
Discover multiple ways to mask and select, clone, dodge, burn, and color correct photographic images
Create images for web and print
Advance your knowledge of photo manipulation techniques

Topic Outline

Removing unwanted elements from your photograph - anything from blemishes to bystanders
Correcting lens distortion and color balance to ensure accuracy in your photograph
Alter lighting, contrast, and atmosphere to capture the perfect feelings in your pictures

Prerequisites

Have attended the "Adobe Photoshop 101" class or equivalent experience.
