Class Description

Effective immediately in response to COVID-19, all Technology Training classes will be delivered online until further notice.

In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.
 



Take your Photoshop skills to the next level. In this session, you will learn best practices to properly use Photoshop tools like Masking, Clone, Dodge, Burn, and others to manipulate and improve your images.

Prerequisite: Have either attended the "Adobe Photoshop 101" class or equivalent experience.

This half-day, hands-on class picks up where Photoshop 101 left off. Enhance your image editing techniques, fine-tune your Photoshop tool utilization, and develop creative visuals suitable for web and print media. In this training, you will be able to gain best practices for masking, cloning, burning, and color correction to improve your photography and design skills.

Learning Objectives:
During this course, you will have the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Dive deeper into Photoshop's powerful tools
  • Discover multiple ways to mask and select, clone, dodge, burn, color correct photographic images
  • Create images for web and print
  • Advance your knowledge of photo manipulation techniques

Topics to be covered:

  • Removing unwanted elements from your photograph - anything from blemishes to bystanders

  • Correcting lens distortion and color balance to ensure accuracy in your photograph

  • Alter lighting, contrast, and atmosphere to capture the perfect feelings in your pictures
