Description Mathematica is a highly sophisticated computational software package developed by Wolfram Research that covers the breadth and depth of technical computing. The current release, Mathematica 11.1, features a natural language interface and built-in integration with Wolfram|Alpha, the manufacturer's online computational engine. It combines numeric and symbolic computation with data visualization and programming capabilities.

Eligibility

Stanford University faculty, staff and students for instruction and research on campus and only on University-owned machines.  Excludes SLAC and student personal use.

Home-use coverage for faculty and staff: Faculty/staff may install one copy at no charge on personally owned computer as long as a copy of Mathematica license is obtained through the Stanford licensing program.  To request a Home-Use license directly from Wolfram, fill in the request form below.
