CrashPlan Support

Self-service

CrashPlan is designed to be self-service. You can manage your backups, restore files, and adjust settings by visiting the web interface or by launching the client on your computer.

End-user support for CrashPlan is provided by individual department IT support staff.

Stanford Services

You will need to submit a Request in the following instances:

  • You have Protected Health Information (PHI) and you need to let administrators know which computer needs special handling
  • You need to deactivate and expunge backups
