Phish Reporter Button

Report suspicious emails quickly from within Outlook

The Phish Reporter Button enables you to easily and quickly report potentially unsafe emails in Microsoft Outlook.

When you open Outlook desktop on your PC or Mac, you’ll see the Phish Reporter Button as an icon on the top right of your Home tab.

If you use Outlook for the web or the Outlook Mobile app, you’ll see the Phish Reporter Button as an option when you click the ellipsis on the top right of your email.

When you receive an email that appears to be a phishing attempt, select the suspicious message and then click the Phish Reporter Button. Your email will be deleted from your inbox and forwarded to the Information Security Office with all the necessary information.

Features

  • Acknowledgment is sent for identifying a simulated phishing email.

  • Non-simulated phishing emails are forwarded to the Information Security Office with all the information needed to analyze the threat.

  • Reported emails are deleted from your inbox.
