Product description

Product NVivo
Vendor Lumivero
Description

An all-purpose qualitative data analysis system, which is designed to aid researchers in handling non-numerical, unstructured data by supporting processes of indexing, searching and theorizing.

Please note:  NVivo is still a desktop application, but it has a new portal, MyNVivo.  Various portal features (e.g., technical support, training guides) are included in our campus subscription. However, some new add-on services, including audio transcription and cloud collaboration, are not paid by Stanford Libraries. If you wish to use these add-on services, you must pay for them. The portal indicates which services are—and are not—covered by Stanford Libraries.  If the use of Nvivo’s add on services involves high risk data, including PHI, please reach out to the University Privacy Office prior to purchasing any add on services at https://privacyrequest.stanford.edu.
