Now Available: Google Gemini, NotebookLM, and Microsoft Copilot Chat

Starting Dec. 16, Stanford users gain free access to more AI services from Google and Microsoft

We have to say it: Sometimes, more is better.

Starting Dec. 16, your SUNet ID gives you free access to Google Gemini, Google NotebookLM, and Microsoft Copilot Chat. These new services join the existing Microsoft AI offerings already available for purchase.

These service options from University IT (UIT) will empower faculty, students, and staff with even more cutting-edge AI capabilities and stay aligned with Stanford's rigorous data security and privacy standards, including our Data Risk Classifications.

Review dataclass.stanford.edu to learn more about these classifications (Low-Risk, Moderate-Risk, High-Risk: Non-PHI, and High-Risk: PHI).
