New PDF Remediation Service: Appligent

The Office of Digital Accessibility is happy to announce an additional PDF remediation service: Appligent. Appligent provides remediation services to create a more accessible experience.

Perks of Appligent

Earlier this year, we highlighted Equidox, an online PDF remediation service that helps content editors correct inaccessible PDFs. With Appligent, you submit your PDF for remediation to their US-based experts to remediate your PDFs, saving time and the stress of user error.

Through Appligent, you will:

  • Receive high-quality, cost-effective PDF tagging.
  • Get recommendations to help you create accessible PDF files.
  • Have access to expertise in creating accessible complex documentation and forms.

What’s more, if a verifiable error is detected in your PDF within a year of remediation, Appligent will fix it for free.

Info session

The Office of Digital Accessibility is excited to announce a training and information session on Appligent, facilitated by the Appligent team, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Register today for the Zoom session.
