TECHIE FESTIVAL | Adobe Acrobat PDF Mastery

Note: This is a lecture. A laptop is not required but recommended.

Adobe Acrobat Pro offers much more than the Reader. It is used to create, manipulate, and view PDF's (Portable Document Format files). This lecture highlights the extensive and diverse uses of Adobe Acrobat.

Very few Adobe Acrobat users actually need or use many of the features that the tool provides. In this lecture, we will cover a large array of these features so you can decide exactly how Adobe Acrobat could benefit you and your organization.

In this session, learn how to create fill-in forms, share non-printing comments, edit text, password protect files, convert docs into PDF's from other applications, and more!

Topics will include but not limited to:

  • Multiple workflows for creating PDF files
  • Searchable text
  • Interactive form fields
  • Interactive features: buttons, hyperlinks and navigational aids
  • Document language options
  • Document structure and proper read order
  • Accessibility features
  • Adobe and Scans
