Slack: App Integration, Workflows, and Workspace Management

In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.


 

This course is designed to deepen your understanding of Slack by having in-depth discussions on topics such as app integration, channel and workspace management, customization, and workflow automation. Take your Slack skills to the next level!

This course picks up where Getting Started with Slack left off, and offers such intermediate topics as:

  • What is Slack really about?
  • Connecting your tools
  • A deep-dive into Channels
  • Managing your Workspace
  • Customizing your Slack experience
  • Automate your Workflow

This class will also give you the opportunity to ask questions and share your Stanford-specific best practices.



University IT Technology Training classes are only available to Stanford University staff, faculty, students and Stanford Hospitals & Clinics employees. A valid SUNet ID is needed in order to enroll in a class.
