AFS is also available to academic and administrative departments, student groups, and organizations. File Storage is available at low cost. Server Disk Storage provides industry-standard performance and reliability for enterprise systems.
Custom storage solutions can be set up for high-performance computing and large research data files. This service requires a subscription; cost is based on the amount of storage allocated.
Stanford Research Computing Center (SRCC) offers High-Performance Computing (HPC) storage research groups and projects at Stanford for research data.
Data Storage and Data Backup & Recovery are separate services. AFS is backed up daily, free-of-charge. Backup for other services is by subscription. Charges apply.
