WebAFS is Sunsetting on Jan. 7

WebAFS, a web-based interface that allows file access to Andrew File Storage (AFS), is sunsetting on Jan. 7, 2024. The AFS platform itself is not affected and continues to be fully supported by University IT.

While WebAFS will no longer be available, there are alternative methods for accessing AFS. 

Alternatives to WebAFS

WebAFS is being retired due to low usage and its reliance on legacy authentication. However, there are other options for accessing AFS:

• Install SecureFTP software that supports two-factor authentication, such as SecureFX and Fetch.
• Download AFS directly to your device.
