Technology Training Class Registration Guide for Healthcare Community

Introduction

This webpage shows Stanford Health Care, Stanford Medicine Tri-Valley, Stanford Medicine Partners, and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health the steps to enroll in a Technology Training course.

If you are an employee of these groups, follow these steps to enroll in Tech Training.

Step 1: Obtain an active SUNet ID

If you have not yet requested a SUNet ID, it is easy to obtain for employees of Stanford Healthcare, Children's Health, or University HealthCare Alliance.
All you need to do is take the following steps:

  1. View instructions on Request Sponsorship for a SUNet ID: Stanford Medicine.
    Note: This link serves employees of SCH/LPCH, SHC, and UHA.
  2. Click on the “Complete the online request for SUNet ID sponsorship” link.
  3. Continue as “Guest.”
  4. In the “Request Type” field, choose “SUNet ID.”
  5. Fill out and submit the form.

Step 2: Course Register Form

  • Please choose your affiliation with Stanford to open the needed fields down below.  Selecting this correctly drives you to the payment options that apply to your group.
  • Please input your contact information such as your email or phone number. 
  • SUNet ID: For this required field, please enter your SUNet ID.
  • Input the information for the course you select.  All of this information can be found on the class webpage:  https://itsupcoming.stanford.edu
  • For inputting your cost center, here is a link for guidance:  Stanford Medicine website. If you need help determining which cost center to use, please contact your Department Manager. If you have general questions about Tuition Reimbursement, please call the Stanford Healthcare Human Resources Group. 
  • We also accept credit cards, as well as a combination of payment options.

 

If you wish to charge the course fee to a Cost Center, please consult your Human Resources or Finance experts and provide the necessary information in the corresponding field in the form. 
Using a combination of the payment options mentioned above is also acceptable.

After you submit the Registration Form, Technology Training will then proceed towards enrollment.

  • A Cost Center
  • Credit Card 
  • Combination of options above
