VR Hands-On Workshop: Practical Applications

Note: This is a fully in-classroom session and will not be held on Zoom. Please consider not enrolling if you are unable to attend in-person. All participants will need to adhere to the Stanford Health Check guidelines.

The Omnicept VR tool enables developers to access biometric data from VR users. In this session, you will have the opportunity to learn how to get up and running with this VR tool, and experience the impact within the virtual environment.

The HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition enables developers to access biometric data from the VR users.  Omnicept enables collecting heart rate, heart rate variability, eye gaze, pupillometry and machine learning trained algorithms like cognitive load data.

  • Set up a development environment and collect and use Omnicept data
