Effective immediately in response to COVID-19, most Technology Training classes will be delivered online until further notice.

In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.


 

In this 3-hour session, we will go through the best practices for creating an engaging presentations that grab your audience's attention and keeps it.

Every presenter is equal parts teacher and actor, but what can be done to ensure your presentation meets the audience's needs?

This workshop will present easy-to-implement tips to ensure that text, imagery, and presentation layout shines and support your presentation.

Goal: By the end of this class, you would have had the opportunity to better understand how fonts, imagery, colors, and layout can both show and tell unique messages. Knowing this information will help you better choose presentation elements to leverage them better to support your message. Putting all the pieces together will ensure that all parts of your presentation work cohesively and successfully present a unified message. 

Objectives:

  • Understand and unpack a variety of non-verbal messaging that type, imagery, and color convey
  • Use layout tips and tricks to direct audience gaze and attention 
  • Implement targeted design techniques to build a successful presentation template

  • The visual power of color and imagery
  • Guided practice time

  • Building templates for design consistency
  • Guided practice time
