Before each session, Tech Training will provide a Zoom link for live online classes, along with any required class materials.


This class explores the ways to use Smartsheet for filtering your data and making it viewable for stakeholders. You will be introduced to creating reports and dashboards to maximize how data is presented or shared.

 

Pre-requisites:

Learners should have a basic knowledge of creating and editing Smartsheets.

 

Topics covered include:

  • Refresher from the Smartsheet Basics class, with a focus on automated workflows, sharing, and publishing sheets.

 

Working with Reports — Modifying and creating

  • What is a report?
  • Report Builder
  • Sort report
  • Share/Send reports

 

Dashboards/Portals

  • Creating Dashboards to publicize your data
  • Widget types -- Metric, Chart, Shortcut, Rich Text, Report, Image, Title, Web Content
  • Sharing your Dashboard
