Smartsheet Booster: Creating Effective Workflows

Effective immediately in response to COVID-19, most Technology Training classes will be delivered online until further notice.

In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.


 

This Skill Booster is intended to provide experience with creating and managing automated workflows in Smartsheet.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of creating Smartsheets

Workflows in Smartsheet are necessary to get the most out of the tool to automate your work, whether you would like a reminder of an upcoming date, the next step in approval, or to automatically gather information.

Topics covered include:

  • Creating a manual or automatic update request
  • Automated alerts
  • Automate task progress


University IT Technology Training classes are only available to Stanford University staff, faculty, students and Stanford Hospitals & Clinics employees. A valid SUNet ID is needed in order to enroll in a class.
