Getting Started with Drupal at Stanford

Effective immediately in response to COVID-19, all Technology Training classes will be delivered online until further notice.

In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.

 



Are you considering or do you have a Drupal site on Stanford Sites? If so, this session is for you! We'll walk through how you would get started with your Stanford site and explore some tips and tricks. Be sure to bring your questions!

 
Abstract
Learn about Drupal on Stanford Sites.  We will tour new Drupal features offered by Stanford Web Services (SWS) and show you how to get started on your own website.
 
Topics include:
  • Request a Drupal website
  • Create content using Basic Page
  • Using media library
  • Using different paragraph types
  • Working with menus
  • Adding News to your site
  • Adding People to your site
 
We encourage you to request your Drupal site prior to class so that you can apply what you learn.
