Fantastic Things Your Phone Camera Can Do

Effective immediately in response to COVID-19, all Technology Training classes will be delivered online until further notice.


In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.



In this 90-minute session, we will explore the basic features of the Camera Phone. Topics covered include Camera Modes, Flash, Filters, Timers, Selfies, Editing, Manual Focus, Burst Mode, and a brief introduction into photo organization.

Please note: This class will be geared toward iPhone users and the iPhone camera interface (for iPhone 7 and newer), though learners with Android devices or older iPhone models may find a lot of tips are still relevant with slight variations on the interface location of specific tools and features.



University IT Technology Training classes are only available to Stanford University staff, faculty, students and Stanford Hospitals & Clinics employees. A valid SUNet ID is needed in order to enroll in a class.

Additionally, some of these programs are open to interested individuals not affiliated with Stanford, allowing for broader community engagement and learning opportunities.
