- Program Description
This three-hour hands-on workshop is designed for both non-technical business users and experienced analysts interested in working with organizational data. The session explores OpenAI's data analysis features, including interactive table views and file uploads, to support analytical workflows. Participants will have an opportunity to move beyond basic data processing and experiment with transforming complex datasets into decision-ready narratives and visualizations. The workshop also explores sentiment analysis and iterative "dialogue" with data, where follow-up questions help uncover deeper patterns.
- Learning Objectives
Learners will have the opportunity to:
1. Navigate the ChatGPT interface for data analysis, including interactive Table View features.
2. Practice data preparation and privacy considerations before uploading organizational data.
3. Explore KPI extraction, sales and operations reporting, and comparative analysis against historical data or targets.
4. Work with qualitative data through survey analysis, sentiment analysis, and trend detection.
5. Experiment with generating charts and visualizations to communicate patterns to stakeholders.
6. Practice iterative prompting techniques to write executive summaries and uncover correlations.
7. Explore scenario modeling and exporting insights into presentations or BI tools.- Topic Outline
