Note: Final Cut Pro is Mac compatible only. There is no PC version of this software.

Video-editing is a skill that's more and more in demand everywhere you go. Promo videos, department videos, training videos, wedding videos, drone videos - you name it! In this course, you'll get well on your way to acquire this essential skill.

No experience necessary! We'll start from the beginning and get up to speed very quickly. By the end of this seminar, you will be comfortable with the whole workflow: from importing and managing clips, creating sequences, editing sound, working with chromakey, adding titles etc. - all the way to exporting your masterpiece before you share it with the world.

During the training, we will be focusing on good working habits for maximum productivity. Again, by the end of this course, you will have a solid foundation in Final Cut Pro, and be able to edit and produce your video masterpieces.

Software Requirement: All participants should have access to the Final Cut Pro application on their device to use during the session. A link to download the trial version will be sent in the days leading up to the class.

Igor Ovchinnikov has been teaching software productivity classes for over 20 years. Stanford staff have enjoyed his training since around 2007. His training philosophy stems from a strong belief that learning is a perpetual cycle of new discoveries and improvement.
