Have you ever wondered what separates a good app from a bad app? This workshop will provide a broad overview of the user-centered interaction design process and user experience, along with practical tools to create an interactive app prototype.
Requirements: Computer with Adobe XD installed
Goal: By the end of this class, you would have had the opportunity to learn the tools necessary to build interactive, high-fidelity prototypes for website and app design. Knowing this information will help you make better interactive online experiences as you learn to see an interactive design or experience from a user's perspective.
Objectives:
- Understand common interaction design patterns and principles and learn how to apply them to create meaningful experiences
- Use high-fidelity prototypes tools to create a basic app prototype
- Acquire a high-level understanding of the benefits gained by implementing a user-centered design framework
