Legacy MySQL Hosting Platform Retiring
The legacy MySQL hosting platform (phpMyAdmin) will be retired as we transition to the new cloud-based service. If you currently use the legacy platform to host your database, you will need to request a new cloud hosting account and migrate your existing database(s) by Oct. 31, 2024.
Accounts and databases will no longer be accessible on the legacy MySQL hosting platform after Oct. 31, 2024.
Don’t Delay, Make the Switch Today
Request a cloud hosting account and migrate your database(s) today to ensure a smooth transition and take advantage of the new MySQL cloud hosting service's enhanced capabilities.
Here’s how:
- Request a Cloud Hosting Account: If you haven’t already, request a new MySQL database account from the MySQL Database Application. This new account will give you access to the cloud phpMyAdmin. You may continue to access the legacy phpMyAdmin with your old account through Oct. 31, 2024.
- Migrate Your Databases: To avoid any disruption, migrate your existing database(s) to cloud MySQL database hosting before Oct. 31, 2024.
