Peter Nguyen

Peter Nguyen is an educational technologist and learning designer with over a decade of experience at the intersection of education, research, and emerging technologies. Holding a Bachelor's in Computational Biology and a Master's in Learning Design & Educational Technology, he brings a teacher's instincts to designing experiences that stick — having spent years in the classroom with STEM students before moving into the EdTech world. In addition to teaching, Peter has worked in educational product development and UX research, learning to build tools and experiences that meet people where they are. He has served as Learning Innovations Lead at Stanford Medicine for the past 7+ years, partnering with physician faculty to brainstorm, create, and deliver engaging, effective instructional materials leveraging digital and emerging technologies. His current focus is on AI's evolving role in higher education — and on helping educators engage with it thoughtfully, critically, and with genuine curiosity.
