Join the 2026 Techie Festival – Leading AI Galaxy Explorers

Stanford Technology Training is pleased to invite the Stanford community to participate in "Leading AI Galaxy Explorers" competition, a new addition to the 2026 Techie Festival. This summer-long initiative recognizes individuals who demonstrate a sustained commitment to professional learning and the exploration of emerging AI technologies.

Whether you are building foundational AI knowledge, advancing your expertise, or discovering new tools, every training hour contributes to your journey as a Galaxy Explorer. The more Tech Training learning hours you log, the higher you rise on the monthly leaderboard – and become eligible for selecting one of the galaxy prizes.

We invite you to chart your course, fuel your curiosity, and help lead the way across the AI galaxy.

How to Participate

  1. Attend any Stanford Technology Training session of your choice. Register and attend any Stanford Technology Training session offered during June, July, or August 2026. All sessions are eligible – instructor-led live sessions, in-person sessions, skill booster sessions, and custom training sessions.
  2. Your training hours are tracked for you. Completed training hours are recorded automatically through your Stanford Technology Training registration and attendance records across each monthly competition period (June 1–30, July 1–31, and August 1–31, 2026). No additional sign-up or submission is required.
  3. Top 3 each month are recognized. At the close of each month, the three learning leaders with the highest number of completed training hours will be recognized as that month's Leading AI Galaxy Explorers. Leaders will be notified by email in the following month and invited to select their prize.

Open to all — dreamers, creators, and tech enthusiasts — this competition provides an opportunity for you to explore the AI galaxy , grow your AI skills and discover the many practical applications of AI .

We look forward to celebrating a community of explorers who are expanding what is possible with AI and shaping the future at Stanford University.

Event Details

Monthly Prizes

Each month, during the Techie Festival, the Leading three AI Galaxy Explorers for each month will have an opportunity to select one of the competition prizes.

Recognition Schedule

Winners will be notified by Tech Training and invited to select their AI platform subscription prize.

  • June Winners: Announced early July 2026
  • July Winners: Announced early August 2026
  • August Winners: Announced early September 2026

Participants

The competition is open to all individuals attending Tech Training workshops and sessions held during June, July, and August 2026.
