Explore AI notetaking and voice dictation tools for capturing spoken content in meetings, fieldwork, and daily work. Practice transforming transcripts into structured summaries and organized action items.

Program Description

Critical information shared in meetings, site visits, and unplanned conversations is often lost before it can be documented. This session explores how AI notetaking and voice dictation tools capture, transcribe, and organize spoken content automatically. Participants practice using these tools across different contexts and explore how to push transcripts into follow-on tools for deeper analysis and action.

Learning Objectives

Learners will have the opportunity to:
1. Explore how AI notetaking and voice dictation tools capture and transcribe spoken content
2. Practice using voice tools to record and structure meetings, fieldwork notes, and spontaneous ideas
3. Work with AI to generate structured summaries, attributed action items, and follow-up drafts
4. Experiment with pushing transcripts into tools like NotebookLM or Google Docs for further analysis
5. Identify recurring documentation gaps in your work that AI notetaking tools could address
