Explore how NotebookLM ingests mixed media including videos, PDFs, and audio into a unified knowledge base. Practice surfacing connections across diverse source formats in one notebook.

Program Description

Modern knowledge workers collect information in many forms: videos, documents, voice recordings, and handwritten notes. This session explores how NotebookLM brings all of these formats together in a single, queryable notebook, making it possible to find patterns and connections across sources that would never be read side by side.
Participants practice uploading mixed media and querying across formats.

Learning Objectives

Learners will have the opportunity to:
1. Explore how NotebookLM processes multiple source formats including video, audio, and documents
2. Practice uploading and organizing a mixed-media collection in a single notebook
3. Work with cross-format querying to surface themes and connections across source types
4. Experiment with using a mixed-media notebook for research synthesis and knowledge management
5. Build a personal or team knowledge base from existing content you already have

Topic Outline

Topics:
- Supported source types: PDFs, YouTube, Google Docs, audio, images
- Uploading and organizing a mixed-media notebook
- Cross-format querying and theme identification
- Surfacing hidden connections across diverse sources
- Use cases for second-brain systems in creative and knowledge work

Tool(s) used: Google NotebookLM
