Program Description

AI Playground 101 introduces learners to the foundational concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the practical applications of Generative AI (GenAI). This beginner-friendly class covers the basics of Large Language Models (LLMs), UIT's AI strategy, effective prompt writing, tokenization, and how GenAI systems process data. Participants will explore responsible AI usage and the concepts of the "Human-in-the-loop" approach.

Through live demonstrations of the AI Playground’s features, participants will gain firsthand experience with GenAI. Interactive exercises guided by the instructor will enable learners to practice their skills and experiment with AI tools firsthand.

Prerequisites
  • Participants must have access to the Stanford AI Playground, available to all faculty, staff, students, Postdocs, and Visiting Scholars. 

  • Access to the internet, in order to use the AI Playground and your Stanford Google Drive.
