This workshop is designed for HR professionals and administrators to explore AI techniques that can be applied in HR, from prompting to real-world applications in supporting your hiring managers, onboarding, employee support, performance management, and HR operations. Emphasis is placed on responsible and ethical use, guardrails, and confident implementation.

AI is quickly becoming part of day-to-day HR work, from drafting job descriptions and building onboarding protocols to supporting employee communications and performance processes. This workshop provides an interactive, structured approach to using AI in HR while maintaining accountability, trust, and compliance.
Participants will have an opportunity to build a shared understanding of how generative AI works and practice writing effective prompts for common HR tasks. The workshop emphasizes the use of AI to build practical HR artifacts, develop realistic scenarios, and engage in applied activities.
The workshop focuses on applying techniques to improve HR processes. It also addresses the ethical, legal, and organizational considerations that accompany AI use in HR. Topics include bias and fairness, privacy and data protection, appropriate use guidelines, and collaboration with legal, IT, and leadership.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop a clear framework for applying AI thoughtfully to HR processes, identify appropriate use cases, and support responsible adoption within their organizations.- Learning Objectives
