Explore professional portrait retouching in Photoshop, using AI tools to preview corrections, generate retouching plans, and improve workflow clarity. This 3-hour workshop emphasizes realism, ethics, and strong manual technique.
- Program Description
Portrait retouching requires judgment, restraint, and technical control. In this 3-hour workshop, participants explore how AI tools can support portrait retouching as time-savers and decision helpers, not replacements for skill.
Using Photoshop's Neural Filters, Smart Portrait features, and AI-assisted planning techniques, participants quickly establish a consistent correction baseline before refining manually with traditional tools such as Healing Brush, Clone Stamp, Dodge and Burn, and Liquify.
The workshop emphasizes realism, ethical boundaries, and intent-driven editing. Participants examine when AI previews are helpful, when they break believability, and how to maintain identity and authenticity throughout the retouching process.
By the end of the session, participants will have a structured portrait retouch workflow supported by AI-generated checklists and guided decision-making.
