Linux for Bench Researchers

Before each live online session, Tech Training will provide a Zoom link for live online classes, along with any required class materials.

Get started with the Linux operating system. This course covers basic commands, Slurm templates and checks, and how to use it for data analysis.

Behind many advanced research tools and workflows lies the Linux operating system. This course introduces Linux as a foundation for managing research data and computational tasks. Starting with core navigation and file management, participants build familiarity with command-line operations. The program also utilizes Slurm templates and checks, providing a framework for working with high-performance computing environments. By the conclusion, participants see how Linux enables efficient data handling, scalable analysis, and integration with AI-driven research methods.
