Explore how AI transforms unstructured text into organized data tables. Practice prompting AI to analyze reviews, reports, and feedback and generate structured comparisons and actionable summaries.
- Program Description
Qualitative data locked inside reports, reviews, and survey responses is often underused because it takes too long to organize manually. This session explores how to prompt AI to extract, categorize, and structure text-based information into usable tables and comparisons. Participants practice generating competitive analyses, feedback summaries, and sentiment breakdowns from raw text inputs.
- Learning Objectives
Learners will have the opportunity to:
1. Explore how AI processes unstructured text and converts it into structured data
2. Practice prompting AI to extract categories, themes, and attributes from qualitative sources
3. Work with table generation to create side-by-side comparisons and feature matrices
4. Experiment with sentiment analysis and priority ranking from survey or review data
5. Apply structured output prompting to a qualitative dataset from your own work
- Topic Outline
Topics:
- How AI converts unstructured text into structured data
- Prompting techniques for data extraction and categorization
- Building comparison tables and feature matrices
- Sentiment analysis and thematic tagging
- Practical applications in marketing, HR, and operationsTools used: Stanford AI Playground and free versions of other AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude)
